The World’s Fastest Workout
By Pete Sisco
In a hurry? Lead a busy life? Pressed for time?
That’s life nowadays. Never in history has a culture filled its days and nights with so many different activities and responsibilities. We all know the associated stress takes a toll on our bodies. And exercise builds us back up. I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t think working out is good for them…but I’ve met plenty who say they don’t have time to do it.
Want some good news?
When it comes to strength training, being short on time works in your favor. Here’s why. Muscle strength, tone and size are improved by working at a high level of intensity. By definition, intensity means a great amount of work in a short amount of time. As the time of your workout increases, the intensity goes down. Yes. A longer muscle workout is a less intense, less effective.
10 Exercises, 5 Seconds Each, All the Muscle You Want
My workout is the fastest workout in the world because each exercise you perform lasts only 5 seconds. And although there are 10 exercises for the major muscle groups of the entire body, you’ll only perform 5 exercises per workout. That means a measly 25 seconds of exercise per workout.
That’s about the amount of time you’ve spent reading this so far. Wow. Nobody else has engineered a workout this brief. And wait until I tell you about the intensity. You have to feel it to believe it.
This is not an easy workout. It’s brief because it’s intense and you couldn’t sustain it for 20 minutes if you wanted to. You only lift the weight in your strongest, safest range of motion and you just hold it for 5 seconds. If you can hold it longer it’s too light. So right from Workout One you’ll be hoisting more weight than you ever have before on every single exercise and you’ll be stimulating muscle fiber you’ve never stimulated before. Wait till you feel the effects of that level of workout, it’s really amazing how great it makes you feel. The endorphin rush is wonderful positive feedback and motivation.
Quit the long, boring routines you’re supposed to endure for three days a week in perpetuity. My training uses these ultra-brief workouts about four times a month to start and then about once or twice a month after that. And did I mention you’ll be stronger than you’ve ever been…and lifting weights you’ve never been able to lift before?
My training is a perfect fit for today’s trainees because it’s engineered to be fast and efficient and deliver fantastic results.
